Stickin’ It To ALS — Night Out at the Admirals Game

Following successful outreach efforts with the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers, we continued to increase awareness of ALS with an “indoor tailgate” event at a Milwaukee Admirals game. A team of 450 ALS supporters wearing mini ALS billboards and a three-minute informational video presented on the Jumbotron between periods highlighted one patient’s emotional story, putting the ALS cause front and center for hockey fans. The patient’s family also participated in the ceremonial puck drop to begin the game.

– Generated 500,000+ pre-event and game-day impressions

– First year generated thousands of dollars benefitting ALS patients and families

– Annual sell out

Pre-event out-of-home messages, including bus shelters and billboards, drove ticket sales and extended awareness of ALS to Southeast Wisconsin.

The game was a sell out, and in addition to the ALS attendees, 20,000 fans were exposed to ALS messaging.

One of our ALS patient videos was played on the Jumbotron between periods, as well as the announcement that the patient’s family would be featured in the ceremonial puck drop to begin the game.
