Following successful outreach efforts with the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers, we continued to increase awareness of ALS with an “indoor tailgate” event at a Milwaukee Admirals game. A team of 450 ALS supporters wearing mini ALS billboards and a three-minute informational video presented on the Jumbotron between periods highlighted one patient’s emotional story, putting the ALS cause front and center for hockey fans. The patient’s family also participated in the ceremonial puck drop to begin the game.
