ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

Due to recent client growth, we are currently adding to our growing team of dynamic individuals. We’re looking for ambitious, energetic new thinkers who are excited to jump in head first into the world of account service. Joining a seasoned group of talented people from a wide variety of backgrounds, the account coordinator position secures the backbone of the agency and leads the daily buzz from working directly with the creative team to supporting senior account team members and agency leadership in meeting client needs and driving new business. The candidate for this position should be ready to show off their multitasking skills, mad organizational talents, and possess the unique desire to go beyond the call of duty to meet and exceed client expectations.

This role will focus on developing strong project management skills, fine-tuning written and verbal communication skills, and working with various teams throughout the agency to ensure daily and longterm projects stay on track. The account coordinator position is an integral component to the agency process, ensuring all team members (both account and creative) are supported and informed on project goals and expectations. A strong verbal and written communication foundation is an absolute must for this position. The ability to create a mind-blowing spreadsheet is a bonus.

Skills and Duties:

  • Strong desire to go the extra mile to keep clients happy and exceed expectations, representing the agency at all times
  • Manage day-to-day internal communication between a variety of team members contributing to the timely response to estimates, timelines, change orders, and other routine communication
  • Update daily and weekly status reports with the traffic coordinator to keep assigned teams on task and on target with internal and external deadlines
  • Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills and a confident presentation style
  • Support account team with photo and video shoot details including talent releases, prop/wardrobe details, and licensing agreements
  • Oversee proper proofreading and adherence of brand guidelines and editorial standards
  • Manage project timelines while contributing to agency routing process, working with the traffic coordinator to ensure agency resources are appropriately assigned
  • Work collaboratively with the account team, creative director, copywriters, art directors/designers and production team
  • Wear multiple hats, be hands-on with numerous projects and provide clear direction to others

The Ideal Candidate is:

  • 1+ years of experience in an account coordinator role or related completed internship required in an agency environment
  • Proactive tendencies with ability to anticipate and react under pressure with poise and clear thought
  • Able to work independently, self-motivate, stay on task, and manage individual and team deadlines
  • A constant learner with desire to stay current with trends and new technology impacting the communications industry
  • Engaged in digital and social media platforms with a high awareness of current trends
  • Expert in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising required
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
